After a cross-examination that included dozens of “Jane\u2019s” effusive and suggestive text messages to her then-boyfriend Sean Combs, prosecutors sought during their re-direct questioning to reframe how to interpret those messages.<\/p>\n

“Jane,” who’s testifying under a pseudonym, read aloud a text she sent, which read, \u201cI know what you want, baby,\u201d and \u201cDon\u2019t want to make you mad\u201d before a sexual encounter with a male escort named Paul.<\/p>\n

Prosecutor Maurene Comey showed the jury a message that Combs sent to Paul not long after: \u201cImma need you to persuade her,\u201d the message said.<\/p>\n

Did you know that Sean had sent this text to Paul saying \u2018Imma need you to persuade her?\u2019\u201d Comey asked on redirect.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never seen these messages,\u201d “Jane” testified in response.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you derive physical pleasure from sex with entertainers?\u201d Comey asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d “Jane” testified. \u201cI was putting on a show.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Jane” told the court she did not orgasm during such encounters but routinely faked it, \u201cBecause I was putting on a show.\u201d She also began sobbing when Comey asked about her jealousy of other women that Combs was seeing during their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just made to be, just carry this impossible pressure and they weren\u2019t asked to hold any of that, that pressure, like I did,\u201d “Jane” testified through tears and sobs. \u201cI just thought it was unfair. All the nights with these men.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Jane” also wept while telling the court, \u201cWhy do I have to break all my boundaries and compromise myself and they don\u2019t have to? It was never about the women — it was, ‘why am I being treated like this?’\u201d<\/p>\n

After the defense, during cross-examination, pointed out texts between “Jane” and Combs about tender moments after the June 2024 episode of physical violence in her house, Comey sought to remind jurors of the night\u2019s brutality.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas Sean vulnerable with you when he forced you to perform oral sex on Anton?\u201d Comey asked, referring to the male escort who showed up after the fight ended.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d “Jane” testified.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas Sean affectionate with you at all?\u201d Comey asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d “Jane” testified.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat was his demeanor the entire time Anton was in the home?\u201d Comey asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvil,\u201d “Jane” testified.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow do you compare in strength to Sean?\u201d Comey asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t.” “Jane” told the court.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat was his tone when he told you to \u2018Get in the f—— outfit?\u2019\u201d Comey asked, referring to earlier testimony.<\/p>\n

\u201cAngry,\u201d “Jane” told the court.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you want to have sex with Anton that night?\u201d Comey asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d “Jane” testified.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat did Sean say to you?\u201d Comey asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat I better get out there and [perform oral sex],\u201d “Jane” told the court. \u201cThat I wasn\u2019t going to ruin his night.\u201d<\/p>\n

On re-cross examination, defense attorney Teny Geragos pointed out that the violence occurred while “Jane” knew Combs was under federal investigation, suggesting that she could have reported it.<\/p>\n

Geragos asked whether “Jane” would be willing to give up her home, for which Combs allegedly still pays the monthly rent.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s where me and my child live,\u201d “Jane” testified. \u201cThat\u2019s a very hard question for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou receive almost $5,000 a month in child support?\u201d Geragos asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes,\u201d “Jane” testified, adding she also makes about $10,000 per month on OnlyFans.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have the ability to pay for the home yourself?\u201d Geragos asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m catching up on three years of debt,\u201d “Jane” testified.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd in those three years, he has wired you $150,000,\u201d Geragos said, referring to Combs.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs that all I\u2019m worth in three years?\u201d “Jane” retorted in her testimony.<\/p>\n

“Jane\u2019s” testimony is now over.<\/p>\n
